Pillar 3 involves addressing barriers, raising awareness, and incentivizing TEC activities through the establishment of an Ambassador cohort.
Mizzou TecHub Ambassadors
Mizzou TecHub Ambassadors will develop the infrastructure and capacity to incentivize and value TEC activities at MU.
Mizzou TecHub Ambassadors will be change-agents that help build capacity, accelerate, and scale translational and use-inspired research activities. Ambassadors will intentionally institutionalize a culture that recognizes and promotes inclusive activities within the institution. The ambassador program will infuse a multi-level group with collaborative agendas rooted in on-going advocacy; they will build a movement of informed change-makers at all levels so that TEC will flourish.
The collective goal for the Ambassadors is to cultivate a more robust ecosystem at MU and boost translation infrastructure; thereby, enhancing a TEC oriented culture that meets the needs of everyone.
Ambassadors generously and intentionally support the Hub to institutionalize a culture shift around TEC at Mizzou.
Ambassadors directly enhance value and increase the vibrance and recognition of multi-faceted translational research opportunities at MU, amplify voices of underrepresented groups in TEC, and promote inclusive activities within the institution.
Ambassadors leverage their valuable expertise and unparalleled networks to build capacity, accelerate, and scale translational and use-inspired research activities at MU.
